Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello!!! I am an average guy living in Clinton, Iowa. I am married to a wonderful, kind and caring, young lady. We have three young girls who make our lives full of happiness. When not at home with my family, I find myself spending time helping others. Although being in the service of others can be exhausting physically, I find so much joy in being able to help those around me. My interests and hobbies include fishing, being outdoors and enjoying nature, and gardening.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) because I have a strong belief in God and in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Being Mormon and accepting the gospel of Christ into my life has changed me profoundly. I have a stronger love for others and find myself thinking of others rather than myself. The fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ can be found in the holy scriptures (The Bible, The Book of Mormon, The Doctrine and Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price). These profound documents have given me personal guidance and have made me a better person. They have the promises and power to change anyone...if only given the chance. The Savior taught us that "ask and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you". He is willing to teach us and show us the way. However, we have to make the first step and seek Him out.

How I live my faith

Living the gospel of Jesus Christ is easy...just do it!!! One of the biggest challenges the we face is allowing the world to take control of what we do. That is easy to change by just not allowing it. I strive to live and adhere to the teachings of the Savior in my daily activities. Whether it is by helping someone or walking down the sidewalk, I try to focus on how other think and feel. This helps me to judge others less and be more willing to help. God has given us all we have, why not share it with the rest of the world!
