Hi I'm Brock

I'm a Mormon. Always have been, always will be.

About Me

I am your average guy. I am married and have two young kids. I love spending time with my family. I like my job as a computer programmer, and like to be active.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member. I made some great friends in the Church when I was young. They helped me come to church every Sunday. This helped put me in the right place to love what being a member meant. I love the fact that I have a constant reminder that I can and should always work on being a better person. I believe the Lord has guided me in so many ways. I have felt his Spirit so strong, especially in times when I have needed strength and guidance. When the spirit touches your life you can't deny it, and that is why I will always be a member. Every good thing that I have in my life can be traced to my membership in the church.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the young men of the congregation that I attend. We do camps, fun activities, service projects and learn the Gospel together. The young people of the church are very inspiring. They face many challenges and pressures, but they manage to make good choices when it isn't always easy to do so. In general, I try to live my faith by being a good guy. I try to be dependable. By doing this I think that I can gain trust of others. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, and not be judgmental. This is where the example of the Savior inspires me. Finally, as most people know, Mormons love their families. I love mine. I try to stay active at home to help my family with whatever they need. I find that that more I work at being a good father and husband the better I feel about myself, and am eager to help others!
