Hi I'm Robert

I'm a disabled Persian Gulf war vet, I'm a advocate for the rights of fathers and their children.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a disabled Veteran. I served in the United States Navy during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. I advocate for the rights of children and fathers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I firmly believe Heavenly Father would not leave us without guidance in a time when we need it most. I believe that Heavenly Father restored the Priesthood and the prophets to guide us through these troubling times when there is so much out there that distract us from the plan of salvation that Jesus has laid out for us. I love being a part of a church that wants us to recognize the importance of our eathly family and our spiritual family.

How I live my faith

I go out with the missionaries to help teach people interested in the church. I make myself available to those who dislike the church so they can ask me questions so that the many myths and mistruths about the church may be dispelled and a true understanding may be gained.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

We believe the bible is the word of God given to the prophets of the day. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

We help members of every faith and those who claim to have no faith at all. We as Mormons are not commanded to go help other Mormons. We are commanded to help our brothers and sister which for us literally means all of humanity. We are blessed when we help others as are those whom we help and we truly love seeing blessings. Members of our faith wish to be like Jesus Christ and we wish to follow his example. Jesus gave of his wisdom and teaching but he also gave charitably as we see in his miracle at the Sermon on the mount when he fed multitudes. We also see it when he healed the sick and protected a woman named Mary from being stoned. Jesus Christ is our example and we as followers of Christ care not what a persons religion is. We see that our brothers and sisters have a need and try to fill it. As Christ would. Show more Show less
