Hi I'm Nikelle

I live in beautiful Utah. I leave in July to serve a mission in Jamaica and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I love to play sports especially golf and basketball. I'm a college student searching for a major. My family is the best and I love hanging out with them. I enjoy being outside and sharing a good laugh with friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to church every Sunday with my family because both of my parents are lds. As i have grown up I've been given the opportunity to decide for myself whether or not this religion was for me. I chose to be baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After being baptized an overwhelming feeling came over me which i recognized was the holy ghost confirming to me that I had made the right decision. I know this Gospel to be true and am thankful for the instruction we receive through a living Prophet! I can honestly say that having been taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ has made me a better person, the person I am today. I love the fact that families are forever and for the chance to return to live with my Heavenly Father again some day.

How I live my faith

The biggest way i live my faith is through reading and studying the scriptures and then applying them to my life. I love to serve others and fulfill my callings. I have been called as a missionary and will be serving in the Jamaica Kingston Mission. I will continue to live in faith by preaching the restored gospel to the people of Jamaica, and preparing them for baptism.

What is being a Mormon like?

Nikelle
Being a Mormon is recognizing and finding joy. We live normal lives making sure to read the scriptures, say our personal prayers, and attend church meetings. Doing these things cause us to find joy and to better understand our Heavenly Father's plan for us. We believe in keeping the law of Chastity and also the word of wisdom. Staying pure and healthy helps us to appreciate the blessings we receive and we our able to make wise decisions and receive answers to our prayers. Being a Mormon is having the ability to use free agency and make our own decisions. Show more Show less
