Hi I'm Maggie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an at home mommy of two sweet little girls and wife to a wonderful man. I love running, reading, writing, and being in the great outdoors. I also love coaching Cross-Country and encouraging everybody and anybody to RUN! I love God and Jesus Christ and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a young girl I always wondered if there was a God. I wanted to believe that there was, but I had many doubts. I did not grow up attending church of any kind and when I asked questions about God my parents would honestly reply that they didn't know how to answer me because they didn't really know what they believed. They thought they did believe in God, but weren't sure. As I grew up I would sometimes go to different churches with friends. When I went to "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" with a friend I felt a special feeling and enjoyed going. It was many years later, however, when I was living on my own and in college that a beloved friend took his own life-that I really wanted to know more about God. At this time of my life I was drinking alcohol and coffee frequently as most college students do where I attented school. I went to church and met with many missionaries. I prayed often and read the Bible and The Book of Mormon. I felt in my heart and in my mind that these scriptures were true. It was a knowing beyond all knowing. I just knew with all my heart that I wanted to be baptized and join God's church upon the earth. As I made many changes in my life to be able to do so a peace and happiness filled my life that I had never before experienced. Every day I am thankful that I joined the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It blesses my life moment by moment and day by day.

How I live my faith

I have always enjoyed working with youth. I have coached Cross-Country for several years and this summer I started a running club in my hometown that is free for anybody who wants to join. I feel running and encouraging others to run is a great way to help us all lead a healthy life style.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No! We love helping anybody and everybody in need. We know that when we serve other we doing what Jesus Christ would have us do. Show more Show less
