Hi I'm Jeannie Reynolds

I joined the church with my family when I was 8. My husband and I have 4 children and I love being a grandma! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work part time as a kindergarten aide. I enjoy gardening, reading, a little sewing (making things for the grand kids) and having my children and grandchildren around. I have 4 grandchildren and one on the way. Our first granddaughter, Aubrey had Trisomy 18 and her mom carried her for 37 weeks. I look forward to being with her some day.

Why I am a Mormon

My family was invited to go to my mom's bosses house and listen to the missionaries. I remember walking in their home and there was a feeling there that I loved and didn't want to leave. We were going through some hard times, my mom was divorced, and we didn't really have God in our lives, our lives were in chaos. At such a young age, I knew something was different about these people and I wanted to have what they had. I had found peace and happiness when I was with them and I saw it in my mom and brother also. We started to attend church with them and I felt it there also. I learned to pray to my Heavenly Father and learned he was really there listening and guiding me. We were baptized December 20, 1970.

How I live my faith

I teach the Gospel Doctrine class. It is not easy for me to get up in front of people and talk. I was asked to do this and although it is hard for me it has been so rewarding. I have prayed many many times for help in preparing my lessons, I have felt peace from my Heavenly Father to help me do something out of my comfort zone. This calling has been the hardest and most rewarding calling I've ever had. I have learn more about the scriptures and how to apply them to my life.
