Hi I'm Ashley Bonrostro

San Francisco is my playground, Hawaii is my backyard, I'm a total foodie, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family consists of my Mom, Dad, and my two siblings. I'm thee eldest, and yet feel, and probably act like the youngest. I love having jam sessions with my friends on the ukelele, or guitar, singing, and having a good time. I love and adore my family. They are one of a kind and it's always great to spend quality time together, especially at the dinner table. Which brings me to my next favorite thing, food...I LOVE food! Preferably anything sweet... "Mochi ice cream!" I'm currently serving a full-time mission in Laie, Hawaii. I've fallen in love with the nature and the eclectic array of plants here. I also love the people. They are all so wonderful! Moving from one diverse melting pot to another has truly helped me learn that God our Heavenly Father must be thee MOST CREATIVE BEING! Love it! I'm very fond of quotes and inspirational thoughts, and one of them being the phrase "KIA KA HA!" It is a Polynesian phrase meaning stay strong! I am continually learning how to live day by day to enjoy and to endure to the end.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel. Without having the gospel in my life I would have been completely lost, literally no sense of direction in life. The gospel of Jesus Christ has brought peace, love and joy to my life as well as my family. I cannot imagine living in a world of change without this gospel which stands firm, steadfast and immovable. I love that because of this gospel I know that I can be with my family together forever. It brings peace to my soul knowing where I came from, who I am, why I am here, and what will happen after this life. I am forever grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ for without Him I would be nothing. I know this church and this gospel is true with every fiber of my being! I am grateful to know OUR SOULS are WORTH the blood of the Son of God. That is how much the Lord truly loves us! Its an infinite and unchanging love! His love is always there for us regardless of who we are or what we have. He loves us!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by applying what I know to be true. Faith is a verb, it's what I do! I just love sharing and inviting others to come and partake of this GLORIOUS gospel of Jesus Christ! Great things are brought about and burdens are lightened through the efforts of hands being anxiously engaged in a good cause. I live my faith by being anxiously engaged in a good cause.
