Hi I'm Hillary Dalsing

I'm serving my Father in Heaven. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving my Heavenly Father on an 18 month mission. I decided that I needed to serve a mission when I was 19 years old. Ever since then I've studied, prepared, and prayed about serving a mission. This gospel makes me so happy and will bring me eternal happiness. I need the gospel of Jesus Christ because I, like everyone else, am imperfect. I need my Savior, Jesus Christ to strengthen me and to give me hope for the future. This gospel is everything to me! With this gospel I know who I am, I know my worth, and I know what I need to do to return to live with God again. I love the Lord. I love Jesus Christ. I know that they live. I know that through this gospel EVERYONE can find the true, everlasting happiness they are searching for. I know that this IS the gospel of Jesus Christ, and by living like Christ would, we can all know for surety that we can receive salvation.

Why I am a Mormon

This church has strengthened me in so many ways. Through all the trails in my life, the gospel of Jesus Christ has carried me through. I am so thankful for my Heavenly Father for helping me through and hearing my prayers. I'm so grateful for my blessings in my life, most of which have come from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. One of the things that I am most grateful for is the knowledge that families are forever. What a promise! After this life, we will be with the ones that we love for all eternity. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the ordinances of the Restored gospel, we can be together forever. I need and love my family and this knowledge brings me hope. I know that because of this, that God loves us more than we can comprehend! To allow us to be with our loved ones forever is an amazing blessing. I am also a Mormon because I know in my heart that it is true. The Spirit of God has testified to me so many times that this is the path. This is the way that leads to eternal happiness! He has promised to all of His children that if they ask Him, with a sincere heart, He will tell them of the truth. He has illuminated the path of salvation to all His children. He loves us. He wants us to return to Him. He has done everything to help us and His hand is outstretched still to give us everything that we need! I am so happy to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving an 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am proud to be a representative of Christ and serve Him to the best of my abilities. I strive everyday to do the things Christ would do. Even though I fall short every single day, I know that God still loves me. He is my Father and He is cheering me on. He is lifting me up so that I may have the strength do be the best I can be. This is how I live my faith, I do what I can to make my Father in Heaven proud of me. I try my best to align my will with God's will. I try my best to be an example to others so that when they are going through their trials, I can be of help to them. I want everyone to know that this gospel is hope. It is happiness. It is the way. We invite everyone to come, to follow in the footsteps of the Savior, and try everyday to live up to the potential that God sees in us.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Hillary Dalsing
As a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I'm sure you've probably seen us around walking with our black name-tags. We've probably knocked on your door or offered you a copy of the Book of Mormon. When we come to teach people in their homes, our main goal is to help you and your families grow closer to each other and to Christ. We love being able to get to know you as a child of God and we do everything in our power to help give you the tools to draw closer to our Heavenly Father. We help solve problems, concerns, and issues. We also teach lessons that help the learner to understand their purpose in life, where they are going, where they came from, and what we need to do in this life to be the best people we can be. So next time a missionary knocks on your door, don't be afriad! We are only here to serve you and your family! Show more Show less
