Hi I'm Arlene Day

I grew-up in Redding CA. I'm a 1976 Convert, joined in Medford, OR. Jesus Christ saved my life & will be happy to tell you how!

About Me

I'm a Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma; I Love them All & my 3 Children. I've been in Alternative Medicine since 1979, helping people heal their own body. With Heavenly Fathers help I've managed to cure my own health problems from an in-active Thyroid to a Stroke in 2006. Now, with "Gods Miracle Water" I'm helping others to have a happy life enjoying their families, playing, working & serving others through Jesus Christ. Being in the Church has helped me to know that we aren't like other Churches, we are one big strong, positive, nation of people serving on another through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints literately saved my life! I was just divorced from my 3rd husband & was raising my teen age Son by my-self. I was working two jobs & had little time for my Son. He was Baptized when 8 years old, but was inactive by the time he was about to go in the Marines. When I joined the Church I didn't realize how important it was. I knew I had the Savior by my-side, If it wasn't for the support of the Sisters & Relief Society, I know I couldn't of had a testimony or to be active in his Church. The only Church I know of that is family orientated & supportive of one another, bee it a sad or happy situation. Mormons' are very special - serving human beings.

How I live my faith

I strive to follow the Lords Law of the Land & to be an obedient servant to him. I pray a lot during the day & to always have a positive attitude. I need to read my Scriptures more, as there is everything in them that will help me with anything I'm going through. I go to Family Home Evening on Monday Evenings with a group of other Wards. We play games & have a pot luck once in a-while & we are opened minded to each others feelings. This keeps me close to the Lord, feeling the Spirit, keeps me in touch with the Holy Ghost & knowing he is always near me. I'm active in going to Church, being optimistic, having family pictures on my wall & spending time with my Family & Church Members. I can always depend on any member to support or help me with my personal situation. If I didn't have faith, I wouldn't have anything!

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Arlene Day
In our Ward, women dress in casual dress, some long skirts, a dress, not above the knees & the men wear white shirts, sports coat, dress pants or suite. When you are a new member we don't criticize you for wearing out of dress clothes, We dress modestly. Our Children are well dressed in their Sunday best. If you are a new member & you don't have the appropriate clothes, we try to provide you with them. Heavenly Father wants us to dress modestly. Show more Show less
