Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying Ancient Near Eastern Studies at Brigham Young University. I used to be in the cello studio, but I had some medical problems with my arms. Now, I speak Hebrew, have traveled to Israel, and have made loads of new, wonderful friends that I wouldn't have met otherwise! Music still plays a huge role in my life, though. It has a power that nothing else compares to. It's the way I share my thoughts and feelings with others; it's how I share my testimony and my love of the Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because of the goodness it brings to my life. I have grown to know my Savior and I love Him more than words can tell. He helps me when I don't think I can keep going. He comforts me when I'm sad, and I can always feel Him celebrating with me when I find any little bit of happiness. I don't think I would have developed a relationship with Him if it hadn't been for my membership in this church. I know that He loves and cares for me and for all of us--every single person that has ever lived on this planet. And because He loves us, He's given us everything we need to know in order to return to be with Him again someday through scriptures and through living prophets. I'm so grateful for the chance I've had to come to know Him to try every day to be more like Him.

How I live my faith

My favorite thing about being a part of my church is the opportunity I have to serve and help others. With systems called home teaching and visiting teaching, the church is organized in a way that allows every single member to have help whenever and wherever they need it. Serving people is one of my very favorite things to do because it makes me so happy to see the light and joy in their eyes.
