Hi I'm Briana

I'm 21, I love to swim, and sew, I am a Licenced Massage Therapist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life is fairly simple. I grew up in Salt Lake City Utah. Like many people, my family is most important to me. I am the oldest of 4 children, and 20 grandchildren. I worked a lifeguard through high school and then through clooage, where I became a Licenced Massage Therapist. I love what I do! I love to help others when they are in pain, work out those tight sore muscles, and feel better leaving me than they did when they came. I love to swim, sew, watch as many movies as possible, (then quote them back to you). I have a dog (and she is cuter than yours!) I love to try new things, I love the friends that I ahve they are very important to me. I love to sing, listen to music, and read Harry Potter books! Last thing about me: I am a Trekie! ;p

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, although I have not always been converted to what I was doing. That all changed in the summer of 2011. That summer I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon all the way through in 100 days. It was something I had never done before, and decided that since I love to read, it was something I could do. I began. I followed a reading schedule this person had made for me, and I found that as I read I had more peace in my life. I was able to handle stressful situations better, and I could tell a diffrence in my life on those days I didnt read at least 5 minutes from the Book of Mormon. Unnoticed by me, I was happier with my life. Because of that small change to read the Book of Mormon every day, I was happy to get out of bed in the morning and go to work. I liked talking to people. I found I had more fun with my friends, and they had more fun with me. Life in general got more fun. Because I was reading the Book of Mormon, I stopped doing those things that I knew to be wrong, and recommitted to live my life in harmony with God's laws. I saw where true happiness came from and it wasnt in what I was doing with my life. At the end of the Book of Mormon, there is a promise that after you have read it, and remembered the mercies of the Lord, and think about the improvements that you have seen in your life, (and you will!). If you then ask God sincerly if the Book of Mormon is true, and you realy intend to change your life according the teachings of God, he will answer your prayer. He WILL let you know that the Book of Mormon is true! And as I found out for myself: If the Book of Mormon is true "...The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's kingdom once again established on the earth, preparatory to the second coming of the Messiah."

How I live my faith

Because I have found out for myself that this is God's one true church on the earth today, I have decided to take that truth to those who dont know it. I am serving as a missionary for the next 18 months, where I will do nothing but share the thing that I know to be true. To invite others to come unto Christ, by helping them recieve the restored gospel, through Faith in Jesus Christ, and his atonement, repentance, baptism, recieveing the gift of the Holy Ghost and endureing to the end.
