Hi I'm Marcy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 3 wonderful children. My oldest son just graduated from High School. I work as a Project Administrator in Downtown Houston. I enjoy learning and am usually in school of some sort. Currently I am taking Business courses in Management and Leadership. My daughter and I were baptised in October 2011. As a convert to the chruch from living the way of the world for so many years, it has been quite a challenge. The church has been really great through my transition. They are truly living out their faith and really do care about eachother. It has been absolutely refreshing to be a part of such a sincere group who daily strive to be better and help others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was sick of the way everyone around me was living. No one would really try to keep the commandments and not sin. I was looking for a group of people who sincerely lived out their faith everyday. I was also looking for help in finding the way back to righteousness. I invited the missionaries to my home and everything they said made complete sense to me and I could not deny the truth when I heard it. My goal is also to be a righteous mother and example to my children so they can see that there is a better way to live. This is the way that also has the fullness of the gospel and the gospel principles that help guide us along the way. The Mormons are a real family, not just on Sunday mornings. They provide the encouragement, guideance and support families need to be successful on the path.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always remembering the conversion I had after baptism. I live it remembering how miserable I was wihtout a clear path to follow and with sin in my life. I live my faith be praying always and trusting the Lord to being his best in my life when I am prepared for it. I follow the teachings of the Elders and others leaders in the church. I am grateful for righteous leadership. I attend sacrament meeting every Sunday and make it a priority in my life.
