Hi I'm Maryanne Gibbs

I'm the youngest of 15 kids. I grew up in Southern California. I love to laugh. I am a Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Kyiv, Ukraine mission. I love to be around my family, friends and getting know others life stories. I am the youngest of 15 children who are all from the same Mom and Dad. I was born into the church with loving parents and siblings who are great examples to me of how to live the Gospel. When I was 13 years old my Dad passed away in a motorcycle accident on his way to work. Although it has been the hardest trial I have ever been through, I know that there is life after this and that I can be reunited with him and live with my family for all eternity. I love my Heavenly Father and I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me, and although I may not understand why I have to go through some of the things I go through, but I know that he has a purpose for me and he put trials in my life because he trusts me and knows that I will be able to overcome those trials, become a better person, and have an even greater relationship with him. I love cheesy jokes. I love to laugh. I love to bake. I love the outdoors, especially the beach. I love to serve others. I love my family. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this church is true. The greatest thing about this gospel is that it is true. I find great peace, happiness, and joy in this church. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Heavenly Father has a specific plan for me and each one of his children. I am grateful for the Plan of Happiness that He has created to know that I can live with Him and my family for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being happy, kind, and giving service to others. I keep my relationship close with my Heavenly Father by attending church regularly. I go to him in prayer often and I rely on him and trust in his plan for me. I look forward to marrying a worthy member of the church and raising a family in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that the most important job that I will have on earth is being a mother and a wife. I listen and obey to the words of the Prophets and other church leaders because I know that they were called of God and receive inspiration from him to guide us through these Latter Days.
