Hi I'm Dennis

I'm a Mormon. I was born in California but grew up in Northern Utah. I love the differences in people.

About Me

I am married and a father of 5 children with 24 grandchildren and one great child soon to be two. They are at the center of my life. I have been a pilot, corporate manager, police officer, and home builder. The career I loved the most was being a pilot and flight instructor. It was great seeing someone learning how to fly. I have had many hobbies, hunting, fishing, leatherwork, woodwork, gunsmithing, auto work and I have built several homes from the ground up. Now I have only one hobby, astronomy. I love to work in my garden when I am at home. I graduted from Indiana University.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is Gods organization on earth. It is here for everyone, not just a select few. He has given us all of the tools necessary to be happy in this life and in the life to come. I know that Joseph Smith saw God and his son Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know that if a person sincerely wants to know the churches truthfulness, all it takes is sincere prayer to our heavenly father. I love the fact that the Lord's church has a program for every person on earth. It is a world wide church and is no respector of person's. Unconditional love is spoken here.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving an LDS Mission with my wife. We are helping in the ward where we serve. There are so many wonderful people here. Many are poor and I have found that my past experiences have come in handy to help them. My experience in the church have been many as would be expected for my age, but the best experience was being able to serve in the temple for three years with my wife. None of the other callings I have had in the church ever comes close to topping the time we spent working in the temple.
