Hi I'm Saul Rivera

I am a Pharmacy Technician, I am a student, I'm a artist, I'm a sports fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a current Pre-med student, working as a Pharmacy Technician. My family and I came to the United States when i was about 4 years old. From a young age i was tought about the importance of work. Growing up every summer my dad would take my brothers and I to do landscaping in the Arizona heat. Even though i look up to my dad for being able to teach me that hard work pays off, I enjoy working inside the Pharmacy more. I have always loved 2 things, Art and Sports. Right now i mainly just draw using charcole pastels. I love to play Sports, from golf to handball you name it.

Why I am a Mormon

There is a time in everybody's life where they hit a wall and want to find out if the things you grew up beliving are true. During my teenage years I hit that wall. I wanted to know if Jesus was the Christ, and if Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I was able to answer my own questions by just reflecting on my life growing up as a memeber of the church and the feelings that I would get as I practiced living the gospel in my life. I realized that Gods hand is literally in all things and that he definitly had a plan for me. At that moment I felt his love and knew Jesus really did live and atoned for my sins and that the Church of Jesus Christ was restored and I was already part of it. This Gospel has helped me so much in my life when it comes to making decisions. God definetly answers our prayers and knows whats best for us.

How I live my faith

As humans we get physically sick and spiritually sick. As a Pharmacy Technician I am able to serve those that are physically sick within my community. As a member of the church I am able to serve my brothers that are spiritually sick by visiting those that are going through trials in their lives. Being mormon I have learned that as you serve others around you, weather they are sick physically or spiritually, you are only serving God.
