Hi I'm Daphnie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 36 years old. I am married with four children. My oldest are twin boys (16), one daughter (13), and my youngest is (7.) I am a lunch lady at our local elementary school, and I am currently going to school to be an elementary teacher. I enjoy country music, amusement parks, shopping, and weekend retreats with my hubbie. My favorite T.V. shows are Monk and Psych.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Lord Jesus Christ! I believe that families can be together forever. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that he atoned for our sins. I believe that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son, and that he was chosen to restore the Savior's gospel and priesthood to the Earth. I believe that Christ was resurrected and that he made it possible for us to overcome death and be resurrected as He was. I enjoy the sisterhood that I find in the Relief Society Organization. I enjoy the mutual respect and encouragement that other members of the church offer me. I am grateful for the blessing of the priesthood in my life. That my husband can pronounce blessings upon mine and my children's heads through the power of God. I enjoy the help and guidance that I receive from church leaders, teachers, and a Latter Day Prophet, who help me raise my children to be kind, honest, and hardworking.

How I live my faith

I have served my church in many different capacities. I serve as a visiting teacher where I visit four sisters in their homes each month to share a spiritual message, serve them in any way I can, and just visit and get to know them as a daughter of God. I have also served as a teacher to adults, children and youth. I am currently serving in the Stake Young Women where I help coordinate and plan uplifting and service-filled youth activities for youth in our community, including: dances, firesides, picnics, games, community service projects, and camps. I also help plan and carry out adult leadership trainings for leaders of youth in our community as well as leadership training for youth. I try to serve my neighbors any way I can whether it be yard work, visits, or a loaf of fresh baked bread or cookies.
