Hi I'm Kathy

I am a wife, and mother of four children, I love helping others, and doing things with my family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am busy with my family and grandchildren, I feel young, but I guess I am considered soon to be an "empty nest-er," since my last child graduated from High School. I help my husband during tax season, and I substitute at the local schools when I can. I have helped take care of my family for many years, and especially my parents for the last few years. Now that they have both passed away, I am so very grateful for the knowledge I have of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ( Mormon) of where they are after they have passed. I enjoy cooking, planning and helping with weddings. I love to be with young people and live life to the fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts to the ( Mormon) church, so I had the opportunity to be raised in the church, and learn from early childhood about a loving Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. As I grew up I was able to go to primary where young kids learn about the principles of the gospel, and at age eight I was able to be baptized into this church, I then attended Young Women's, and also Seminary where you gain a lot knowledge about our religion. When I was younger I felt a great desire to share the gospel message to others and was called to serve a 18th month mission in Taiwan Kaoshiung, I learned how to speak Mandarin Chinese, which I might add was challenging, but with the help of my Heavenly Father I was able to accomplish it.

How I live my faith

As an adult I love serving with young children in the church singing songs, and teaching principles of the gospel and seeing there young faces light up when they hear about Jesus. I enjoy serving with Young women and planning and doing purposeful activities that bring them joy and happiness of knowing who they are. I am so grateful for the gospel and it's activities to be available in raising my own children. To have the support of others confirming your beliefs and living standards of honesty and integrity, and of being true to yourself and your Heavenly Father and try live a Christ like life. I enjoy being with happy positive people who look for good things to be doing and strive to have that joy.
