Hi I'm Jeff

I grew up in Las Vegas and was able to quickly see the consequences of our choices, both good and bad. I am happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy my family. I love being a husband, dad, and now a grandfather. I enjoy hiking in the National Parks of Utah and Wyoming. I have enjoyed looking at the heavens and am an amateur astonomer and photographer. My wife and I like to go scuba diving together. Mostly I enjoy spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned that the most important things in life have to do with those you love. When terrible things happen our priorities seem to reset to those things that really matter. Knowing that I can be with those I love forever brings me peace in this crazy world. I see the blessings of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ every day. I have prayed and had the sweet peace of the spirit help me. I believe that we can always pray to our Heavenly Father and have our prayers answered. He loves us and wants us to be happy here on earth and forever after. I believe that families continue after this life and that we can continue our love and association with those who have already passed on ahead of us. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes everything else worthwhile.

How I live my faith

I have spent years teaching the youth and helping them to set and achieve worthwhile goals. I spend time studying scriptures personally and as a family daily. We start and finish our days with prayer. We as a family look for ways that we can serve others in need and at least help those we are around to be happier than they were. We serve in the community and local schools. Our religion is one that matters all day every day. We try to live the best we can all week. We are trying to be more like Jesus who is the best example we know. We trust that through His sacrifice and atonement we may be saved by His grace to live with Him again.
