Hi I'm Joanna

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Joanna. I am 35 years old. I became a young widow in 2010 when my husband passed away from a chronic illness after 8 years of marriage. I work as a Medical Assistant in a Surgeon's office with 2 Surgeons and a Nurse Practitioner. I love what I do. I love to help people and make them better and happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since I was born. I was born a child of record. I became an official member when I turned 8 years old. I love the Gospel. I love knowing that I belong to an eternal family and that I will be reunited with my husband and my father who have both passed away. I love knowing the Plan of Salvation and what it means to me. I know we came to earth and that we once lived with God and that we will return to be with Him and our elder brother Jesus Christ again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to those around me. My co workers know I am Mormon and they (well almost all) respect me for that. They know I don't drink and although they invite me to many things they will always tell me they will have soda and water and juice for me if I go. I also live my faith by being a Sunday School teacher in the Children's Primary Organization for the 6 to 7 year old children. I love to teach them about Jesus and I love to teach them to Choose the Right everyday.

Are Mormons Christians?

To me a Christian is someone who believes and worships Jesus Christ. I know that as a Mormon Jesus Christ is the whole basis to our faith and the head of our church. Jesus Christ is my elder brother. I know that Jesus Christ died for us so that we can live with our Father in Heaven again. I accept Jesus as my leader, my King, my Savior. Yes I am a Christian. Show more Show less
