I'm 21 Years old and was raised in Utah. I love it their so much their is so much to do. I Love sports My main focus is swimming. and I am addicted to rock climbing. Mission rules do not allow me to do so, that has been a bit of a struggle, but I know the lord will protect me when I do what I am asked. I also enjoy music, I have been playing drums for the last nine years. and the guitar and bass for about two years now. I absolutely love the out doors, camping, fishing, bunny hunting, quads, you name it. When I get home after my mission i would like to be am EMT. I have a great love for helping people in need. and I Love thrill and Adventure!

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. Because I know it's true. And because I have seen many blessings in my life, not only for myself but for my family. I have been taught from a young age that when I am doing what Christ wants me to, and when I follow his example and commandments. I will never go wanting for what I need. and often times I will have the things I want as well. And most importantly When I'm at church I can feel my saviors love.

How I live my faith

Well as of right now I Am serving an LDS Mission, but when I was home I served in my ward as the assistant ward clerk, and Had the wonderful blessing and opportunity to assist the bishopric in any way I could. Also as a member of the church we are encouraged to give service, so I often would volunteer anywhere I could find a place to lend a hand.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

We do not only help Mormons. As Members Of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we are very much encouraged to do service, not only to Mormons but to every one. We believe that when we are in the service of our fellow man, we are also serving God. I love service I look for an opportunity to serve my fellow man daily no matter what their religion might be. It makes no difference to me. My only hope when serving others of a different religion, is that I can leave a positive experience with the person I served. Show more Show less

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Christ founded our church, Joseph Smith restored it. When Christ was on the earth he had a church set up with a prophet and apostles and the full preisthood of God on the earth. After Christ died, and his apostles where killed the teachings of Christ where corrupted. So the full doctrine of Christ was no longer on the earth. The Churth Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints (Mormonism.) Is the restored church of Christ, as he had it in his earthly life. It was restored by God our heavanly father and his son Jesus Christ, through The prophet Joseph Smith. By visits from heavenly messangers. So our religion was founded by Christ. But it was restored in the Latter-days by the prophet Joseph Smith who was called of God to do so. This is why full name of our church is, The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

The Main Reason We Go To Church, Is To Partake Of The Sacrament. In Doing So, We Are Renewing Our Promise We Made With God At Baptizem, The Promise We Made To Follow Jesus Christ And His Comandments. In The Temple We Have The Opportunity To Make More Covenants With God. In Doing So It Allows God To Bless Our Lifes Even More. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

It's AWSOME!!!!! But It is very hard. Being a member of the Churh of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is a full time round the clock commitment. But with that comes many blessings. I don't know where I would be without the church. I have the best support in every aspect of my life. from spiritual guidance from my ward and church leaders. down to the best friends and family I could ever ask for. Show more Show less

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Well first you should get ahold of the mormon missionarys. a good way to do that is through a friend that is a member of The Church of Jesus Chriest of Latter Day Saints and ask them to put you in contact. or if not mormon.org has a request missionary visit section. you can have the missionarys come visit you thats way. The missionarys will teach you and pray with you and read scpriptue with you. And when you come to know that this is the restored church of Jesus Christ. you can then be baptized, and confermed a member of the church. Show more Show less
