Hi I'm Sarah

I have four brothers, I love sports, I love to laugh, I'm a missionary in the Taiwan Taipei mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

During my freshman year at BYU I decided I wanted to serve as a full-time missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am currently serving as a missionary in Taipei, Taiwan and will continue my service for the next 18 months! I am the middle child of four brothers. This has made life super crazy, but way fun! They have taught me to love sports, and of course protect myself in a fight. I love my family, I love people, and I believe that no matter what you do or what is going on, if you're wearing a smile everything will end up ok :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, and am thankful for the person it has made me. If i am ever struggling I think back to the simple lessons I was taught as a kid in primary, "I am a child of God". Focusing on that basic truth leads to my knowledge of everything else. As a daughter of God I know I have a purpose in life. As a daughter of my Heavenly Father, I have worth! He loves me which is why He sent Christ to atone for our sins so we can make it back to him someday. When Christ suffered for my sins he also experienced everything i'm going through so that i'll never be alone. We have a living prophet on earth today just as was had in days of old to guide and direct us. The Bookof Mormon goes hand in hand with the Bible to show us the way to live, how to have faith through trials, and most of all know that God is always on our side. I love this gospel, i love that i can be with my family forever. I don't know how it would be possible to make it through life without this knowledge, and for that reason, I am so excited to be serving a mission, and share this great truth with those who haven't had the chance to hear it yet. I know I couldn't be who i am today, where i am today, without God and His church in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by constantly being an example of what I believe. That means surrounding myself with those who share my standards and doing my best to live my life as the Savior would if He were in my shoes. As a missionary I live my faith going door to door and street to street telling those around me about their Heavenly Father, and His plan for them. I believe a smile can change the world. I try to follow Christ's example by including the excluded, loving those who feel uncared for, and most of all being true to myself.
