Hi I'm Becca

I grew up in Utah, now I'm a cast member at Walt Disney World in Florida. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have a passion for all things beautiful. I love to play guitar and write music. I also love creating art, both traditional art, such as painting and drawing along with graphic design. I go to college at Brigham Young University and study Advertising with a minor in Visual Arts. I have a family with two younger sisters and an older brother. I love anything to do with family and staying close to them. Other interests I have are fashion and photography. Right now I am working at Disney World as a cast member in Magic Kingdom. I someday want to come back and work for them professionally as an artist or designer. I work everyday to create happiness and love for those around me. I'm definitely a little girl at heart. I love kids and being silly. Smiling is the best medicine. Life should always have joy, and I hope I can always share that joy with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in love, in family, through others and through God. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and all those on the earth. Everything in the gospel brings joy to my life and my family. I love being a mormon because it creates those lasting relationships on earth that we long for. By being a latter day saint, I can be with my family forever. Because God has given me and my family that gift through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I would give anything to him in return. I was raised in the church. My Father and Mother were very good at letting me choose my own path in life. I chose to remain a member of the LDS faith because I have seen the joy it brings and have felt witness that the church is true. I know for myself from experience that this gospel is the true way to be happy in this life. I also know that through Christ, I can become pure. He also is there for me in times of trial in my life. I know that without this church, I wouldn't be able to cope with many of the trials I have been given in this life. My mom suffered through Breast Cancer when I was only 16 years old. Many in my family have passed, and I have also had many illnesses and injuries. I know I couldn't have made it through without the support from both my Heavenly Father and the people of our faith. Also the small trials such as financial struggles, friendship problems, they are all so much better with the eternal perspective and companionship with God that you receive from being a Latter Day Saint.

How I live my faith

The biggest way I live my faith is by trying to be like Christ in everything I do. At work, I wear a name tag that says Brigham Young University. This makes me a representation of the Mormon church. By always helping others and being a bright example of Christlike love and charity, I can serve others and share my message of hope and love. Loving and caring for others with joy is the fastest way to spread the light of Christ. Other things I do to help out is I attend church meetings and help women in my church by visiting them and taking care of them. I support my brother and best friend who are both serving missions by writing them letters and emails. I love being a part of missionary work, and I love being a part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

I believe that there is a God because I have felt his love in my heart. Whenever I pray with a sincere heart I can feel his love. Not only in prayer, but when I am with my family I can feel that love in my heart and the love I feel for my family is the same love I can feel coming from my Heavenly Father. I love looking at the outdoors and this beautiful earth that's been created for us and just through nature I have no doubts of God's love. I also know he loves me because he answers my prayers. He helps me when things are lost, or when I don't think I can make it through the day. He protects me when the world is uncertain or scary. And he takes care of the ones I love and gives me assurance and hope that I can make it. Heavenly Father has a love so deep, and I know that he and his son, Jesus Christ love me. Show more Show less
