Hi I'm Dave
I'm a psychology student, I'm a teacher, I love theme parks, and I'm a Mormon.
I love being alive. I grew up in Utah and I love to travel. I have been to the east and west coasts and love meeting new people and trying new things. I am working on acheiving a major in adolescent psychology. Each Sunday, I teach a class of youth preparing to be missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love learning, and I love teaching. An education is just about the most important thing you can ever get. I absolutely love going to theme parks and meeting the people there.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have prayed and have arrived at the conclusion that this is the one true Church of Christ upon the earth at this time. The Book of Mormon is such a wonderful gift to the world and has allowed me to have a solid foundation to build upon as I create an amazing relationship with our Heavenly Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. This church has more to offer anybody than anywhere else in the world. You may not want it, but you do need it.
How I live my faith
For two years, I served as a missionary in northern California. I was able to out each and every day and "invite others to come unto Christ, by helping them receive the Restored Gospel, through Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the end." This is the most fulfilling work I have ever done in my life. Each day I am given the oppurtunity to share my knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people around me. It is the most exciting thing that anyone could ever be engaged in. Now that I am home, I continue to stay connected with the missionary program by teaching my friends about the gospel. I also teach a group of youth preparing to be missionaries. The gospel is amazing!
