Hi I'm Oliver Rice

I grew up in the Boise area. I like to serve others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy skiing, swimming, scouting, video games, rock climbing, and a variety of other things. I am working to go on a mission to the Bacolod Philippines mission. I've earned my Eagle Scout rank, I graduated from high school in 2011. My interests are Star Wars, video games, reading, singing, and cooking

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon and that everything in its contents are true. I have taken Moroni's challenge and prayed about the Book of Mormon and the Holy Ghost has confirmed unto me that it is the word of God and the prophets of old and in these latter days have been called by God to serve us and guide us through the challenges that we experience throughout our lives. I feel that members that have grown up in the church have their own "conversion story" or an experience that solidified that this gospel is the only one that contains all the truths that have been revealed to us. I have known to come the gospel's truth through seminary, institute and most of all institute choir. There have been countless testimony building experiences that I have had the great privilege of participating in. I am also grateful for the temples that we have been blessed with and how our families can be sealed together forever. I am proud to say for those reasons and more that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings regularly, I take Institute classes, I love attending and being a counselor for the Boise Youth Spectacular (BYS), and I go to the temple when ever I can, and I have made the choice to serve the lord in all my actions.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Oliver Rice
The best way to find out for yourself is to read the scriptures, both the Bible King James version and The Book of Mormon, and then to pray to our Heavenly Father in the name of Christ our Savior if what is written is true and continue to think about it so the spirit can be with you so you can receive the confirmation that what you have read is the truth.
