Hi I'm Dylan

I love music. I love my nephews. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been involved with music for quite some time. I started with band (Go Euphoniums!), went into choir, and then into musicals. Music has touched my life like nothing else ever could. With the talent that God has given me, I have sung in church several times, and I consider my songs to God a way of sharing my testimony. I have four little nephews that lived with me for a few months, and in that time, I realized how important family is. I also realized that these little spirits, despite their lack of worldly knowedge, know that God is there, and guides them in life. Right now I am serving a mission, which means that I am devoting two years of my life to the Lord, and being away from my family members, I realize just how important they really are. I know that my service to the Lord is an example for my nephews to follow when they are old enough.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that God has restored his church, the same church Christ put on the earth when he was here. I know this because of prayer. I have prayed to my father in heaven and I know that through the restored gospel of Jesus Christ I can return to live with my father in heaven, and my family, forever. Families are forever, but only through the power of the priesthood. Priesthood is the power to act in the name of God, and I know that God has given us this power, so that we can return to live with him. Prayer works. I would ask you to pray to see if these things are true. I know that God will answer your prayers just as he has mine.

How I live my faith

As I said, I am on my mission. A mission to bring more people to the knowledge of their God, and help them return to live with him again. I know that through my efforts, God is using me to teach his children. The experiences I am having are worth more than anything in the world. Sometimes it's not easy to just go up and start talking to people about God. Sometimes its a little wierd, or uncomfortable at first. But this I have learned from my experiences: I need to be uncomfortable temporally so that others can be comfortable eternally.
