Hi I'm Parker

Adventures are good. I love the outdoors, especially snowmobiling. Yes, this is my natural hair color, and I'm a Mormon?

About Me

Not really much to say about "this guy." I grew up in Utah and I love the mountains including all things in them. Rock climbing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, hiking, camping, fishing, and all sorts of four wheeling. I'm a real easy going person who can get along with anyone. "Can't we all just get along?" I love having fun and listening to all sorts of good music, anything I can jam out to really. Motorcycle trips with my father are the bomb, just you and the road. Friends and family are huge in my life! That is one of the main reasons we're here, is to build relationships and maintain them. I enjoy building things with my hands and creating something new. This is probably why I enjoy cooking and sewing. "Who's to say that's the womens job?" I've got a couple years of college under my belt before I decided to serve a volunteer misison for 2 years. I'm interested in business and something in the medical field upon my return home.

Why I am a Mormon

For me it's simple. It just makes sense. Living the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ brings so much happiness and joy into one's life. "Why wouldn't you want that?" In a world like today it is often difficult to find the time of day for the things that really matter most. Our loving Father in heaven, his son Jesus Christ, and our families. When we focus on and live His Gospel, our families are bonded more closely and have a chance at Eternal Life. When you compare the Church today with the church Christ set up, when he was on Earth, it fits. And the power of the Book of Mormon truely does confirm that. That is; Jesus in the living Christ, Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God chosen to bring in this last dispensation, and the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know this to be true, because I have applied the principles that have been taught since the beginning of scripture. "Seek and ye shall find." Some know not the truth because they don't know where to look. If anyone would just give it a chance and act on it, they too can know for a surety the truth, in it's fulness, has been restored.

How I live my faith

Currently I'm serving a two year mission in the New England states. Each day I dedicate myself to studying the scriptures, prayer, serving others, and smiling. I believe everyone should get our best, even if we don't feel our best. In and through Jesus Christ, we can be our best. It is a lifelong pursuit to become like Jesus Christ. "...with man it is impossible, but with God all things are possible." I believe in being happy, life on Earth is too short not to enjoy climbing a mountain, riding a wave, jumping a snowmobile, or taking a sweet bike jump into a nice pond. I believe in helping others. I believe we need to be an example to others. I believe bad times can become good, and good times can become great. I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe the Gospel has helped me to become "who I really am." It has helped me to forget myself and serve the Lord. In return, we receive so much more than what we put into it.
