Hi I'm Rafael :)

I'm a Mormon missionary serving in the England Manchester Mission :)

About Me

I was born in Uruguay, I've lived for a few years in Spain and my ancestors are from Italy. I am a nursing assistant and a indoor soccer referee but I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the England Manchester Mission. I am the last of four children. I love sports, especially football. I also love playing the piano and listening to music, going out with friends and spending time with my family :) I speak spanish as my first language, english and a little bit of italian. I love the little detalis of life as watching the sun goes down in the sunset, listening to the wind whispers or feeling the raindrops on my cheeks.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I've kneeled and asked God if this was true and in His tender mercies the Lord has answered my prayers so clearly and powerfully!!! Simply, because i have felt that my Redeemer lives, he's my Savior. and how can I deny it? Because I feel His love every day and I've seen the change in my life that comes from applying the atonement and keeping His commandments and living according to His will.

How I live my faith

I am serving the lord on a mission :) !!! looking for oportunities to help others :) and share with everyone the great knowledge of the amazing plan that Heavenly Father has for all of us. Before coming to my mission I served in my local church(ward) as a ward missionary, helping the fulltime missionaries on their great work!!! I also had the opportunity to serve in one of the organizations within the ward, the Elders Quorum, as an adviser to the elders quorum leader. Another of the many great opportunities that the members of the church have, when assigned, is to be teachers in the sunday school class or other classes. My assignment was also to teach in one of those classes to the people that first came to church or was investigating the church.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Rafael :)
There are plenty of things that draw me to beleive that there's a God, a creator. When I look at the nature and its beauty, the greatness of the mountains and lakes or even the very small creatures and their complexity like for example the shape and texture of a bug's wing all of this and much more tells me there is a God, a creator, a designer behind all things.
