Hi I'm Elvin Jerome

I'm studying Agriculture Engineering. I'm a Church History Specialist and a member of my school's Student Council. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am serving as a Youth Leader in my community and also an Assistant to our Branch President. During my free time, I love to organize groups of people who share my common belief that religion is not an hindrance for unity. I am also doing an advocacy project which focuses in conserving the Environment and i love to communicate with other people especially in which I can share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it is the Kingdom of God restored through a Prophet which prophet is called by God to proclaim, to preach and to restore all things that were lost. This church is not an organization which is led by merely person or group of persons who don't have an authority which came on high. Also, I chose to become a memebr because by doing so, I am following the footsteps Jesus showed us while He lives on earth. The gospel truly nourish my life everyday as well as those people who surrounds as I try to live God expects me to do.

How I live my faith

Service is very unique in the church and I'm very happy that as young as the youth can serve and fulfill their duty to God as well as in their community. I am the 1st Assistant of our Branch President, my duty is to assist the Head of our branch in assuring that the church functions well, like the administering and also maintaining the good welfare of the members in our church. I am also a Branch Missionary who assist the full time missionaries to visit and to teach to new investigators of the church, less active members and inactive members. i am very happy that I am given roles to fulfill in helping establishing the church in this area. I am working with them 15 hours a week and each time I join in teaching the gospel I know heavenly Father is very happy for me.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Elvin Jerome
Missionaries invite people to come unto Christ. It is interesting to note that we, as members of the church, has an obligation in sharing the gospel because we know that is is the "most desirable of all fruits". The fruit is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that if any man shall take and eat it will never die. The gospel is for all and we know we are all Hid children so we want to share that Fruit to everyone. What is faith?

Elvin Jerome
Faith is something make you work. Faith doesn't end with only a belief it becomes proven if we do certain things and make it a knowledge that will make our testimony become stronger and therefore we will become converted unto the Lord. Show more Show less
