Hi I'm Gina

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the Deep South, moved to Idaho then Oregon, and joined the church while living in Oregon.

About Me

I stay home now. I have four grown children. Two are of my children are members, but are inactive. I like reading, getting out in nature, and going rock hunting. I have collected rocks with minerals from all over the U.S. I have traveled to almost all of the states, except the New England ones.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I have been given a clear vision of the truth of the Church. I was not raised in the church. My parents are Church of God, and my Grandmother was Pentecostal. I have been to many different churches, but the LDS Church fills me with peace, insight into God's word, and I know from deep within, this is the church the Lord set up. I am a skeptic by nature. I have to feel and know "within" on anything in my life. When I read the Book of Mormon, my spirit soars within me, I feel such peace, and my heart rejoices with the words I read.

How I live my faith

I was inactive for many years, and even though I went to other churches, because that's what my husband wanted, and I was just glad to have a husband that would go to church and pray with me, My heart longed for the LDS Church. I have talked about the church to my husband for 8yrs now. He is now going with me, and is going to be baptized soon. Praised the Lord! I am looking forward to both of us getting involved in the church and the Lord's work.
