Hi I'm Tycilee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom to 4 wonderful boys and step-mom to a beautiful daughter. I enjoy volunteering at my kids school, have a passion for literacy, love skin care and cosmetics, and am in the beginning stages of returning to college to earn a degree and pursue a career in mediation.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family. My dad had converted before my parents were married, who were then sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. I had a testimony of what I believed in, but didn't try to understand the Gospel or strengthen my testimony until I was in my early twenties. It was just before the time of my divorce from my first husband, that I knew I needed the Church in my life. Not only for me, but for my kids as well. We endure many things through the divorce process, and as difficult and heart-breaking as it all seemed to be...I can look back now and see how much the Lord blessed me through that trial. I've never been more grateful for this Gospel, to have a living prophet in these latter days, or for our Savior's atonement than I am right now. I love my Father in Heaven. I have been so blessed to be remarried to a wonderful man who shares the same values and beliefs. We have been sealed and have a beautiful blended family that we love so much. I want you to know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for you, and it stretches far beyond this life. I love being a Mormon and am grateful to be able to share my testimony.

How I live my faith

I am so blessed to be able to work with the youth in our Church. There is something so humbling about helping these young men and young women find their own testimonies. I love providing opportunities to help grow and strengthen them. Knowing that they can set the standard in their own homes and communities by following what they know is right is amazing. I am also able to go visiting teaching. I love to go visit other women in our Church to talk and pray with them, and address any needs they may have. I love that I am able to be an active participant in many other activities, especially with my kids!
