Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Indiana. I am a twin. I love to learn. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to stay in shape and learn more about the world and how things really are. I love doing things outside and just reading books. I wrestled and played football in high school and I used to work out all the time. but as I have gotten older I have gotten more into outdoor sports like rock climbing and jogging and stuff. I have a twin sister who is one of my best friends and 6 other brothers and sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since I was born. I never really thought too much about it until I was 14. I went and enjoyed it and had some great experiences. But at 14 my beliefs were really challenged and I really wanted to know if all of this was true and if I really was going to live this way. I simply read the Book of Mormon and sincerely asked to know if it was true and I got an answer. It came through the Holy Ghost and it was such a great feeling. I can never explain away or invalidate that experience in any way. It was so real. Even though as I have learned more and encountered many arguments and points of view against the church I understand that man's view of the world is so limited and our senses and perception of the world are so flawed and changing. I would rather trust that feeling I had and that I continue to have than trust in the logical arguments or views of man. Every time I choose to have faith and my faith is confirmed.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to just be a Christ-like person. I try to treat everyone as he would. I try to embrace his teachings as found in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I strive to serve everyone, I strive to be his hands every day that I go out. I also strive to always follow and be worthy of the Spirit to ensure that I am doing what Heavenly Father would have me do. I strive to love my family and love those who wrong me and remember that little worldly things do not matter but what does matter is how you treat others and the quality of your relationships with others.
