Hi I'm Derrick Keddington

I am a college student who loves school and sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family with six kids and two great parents. I love spending time outside, whether it be at a sporting event or sitting on my deck reading a book. The peace and serenity that comes from being alone in nature is a beautiful thing. I'm a hospital administration fellow at a local academic medical center. When I'm not work you can probably catch me either at a sporting event or sitting on couch watching a game. I love to spend time with my family, especially my wife. My wife and I were married for time and all eternity in 2015. We currently serve in the nursery in our ward, where we get to play with the cutest 18 months - 3 year old kids. I'm so grateful that I can be with my wife and our family for eternity through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm grateful for the knowledge I have been taught about my Savior, Jesus Christ. Like everyone else in the world, I have made my fair share of mistakes, but because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ I have been forgiven and have found peace in my life. Not only does His sacrifice help me overcome my sins, but it allows me to change. To become better. To become like Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It is because of Jesus Christ that I can be with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I love going to church every week. I try very best to live the teachings of Jesus Christ. It isn't always easy to make the right choice, but I know through Christ we can do anything. My favorite part of church each week is the sacrament. Recommitting myself to the promises I have made with Christ and being cleansed of my sins is exactly what I need each week.
