Hi I'm Kaycee.

I am a high school student. I like hanging out with my friends and having fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name Kaycee came from my mother's name, her middle initial K and her maiden initial C. I love to spend time outdoors, walking or riding my bike. I absolutely love music! I love singing and listening to all types of genres. I like to read many different kinds of books. I love the ability to temporarily escape from the real world and also learn about new things through them. I hang out with my friends a lot and we have many "adventures," at least as much adventure as I can actually have right now at this age. I am the oldest of six kids so that puts more responsibility on me, but, I have learned to make it a part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Latter-day Saint, I was born into it and I still am today. I just grew up with the gospel. I haven't had any of the angelic manifestations that you might have heard or read about in the scriptures, and although I haven't heard with my ears or seen with my eyes, I have felt with my heart so for me, I just know it's true. It just makes sense to me. I'm not just a Latter-day Saint for my parents or for anyone else, I just know this is where I am supposed to be.

How I live my faith

I keep my standards (which are also the Lord's standards) no matter where I am and my friends know this. It is so amazing when they help by standing by me when there is a tough decision for me at parties and other events I go to. They know I won't force what I believe onto them, but that I won't give it up for anything. I was recently the president of a group of young women in our church and I loved how I could help them if they needed it.
