Hi I'm Nathan Cutler

I'm a sophomore in college working on a degree in Business Management. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Rexburg Idaho as a full time student at Brigham Young University Idaho. I work as an early morning custodian for the university cleaning classrooms. I enjoy the outdoors, camping hiking, and backpacking. My favorite places to visit are Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Teton National park. Growing up closes to these parks I learned to appreciate the beauty of nature, and the peace it can bring us.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon by my parents something I have never regretted. Part of the teachings of our church is to pray ans ask if this is the church of Jesus Christ. I cannot say I ever doubted my parents but I desired to know for myself. So after having read from the Book of Mormon one night I kneeled down to pray and ask God if the church was true. I felt a strong feeling of joy fill my heart in answer to my prayer. On top of that answer to a prayer the reason I am still a Mormon is the simple things. The good feeling I get when I attend church. The peace and joy I have from living the teachings taught by the church, and the friends I have made a long the way. All these reasons are why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the simple things. I read my scriptures almost everyday, I pray every morning and at night, and by going to church every Sunday. It is pretty simple, but i try to do the simple things better not just make a routine or habit of these things but actually try to make them meaningful by looking for the Lord's will in his written word, his spoken word, and by his spirit. I also believe in small acts of kindness, a smile, a kind hello go a long way in living a Christ like life, and sometimes take the most courage to do.
