Hi I'm Arthur Diaz Jr.

I'm quirky. I'm an artist and a BYU college student serving a full time mission in Cambodia. I love smiling! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a little quirky. I walk on the sunny side of the street. I'm a wee bit free-spirited. I love having fun, and I love creating things. I have always loved animals. Animals and art, ALWAYS. Ever since I was little I admired such carefree, beautiful creatures. They have always inspired me to create. Seeing all of the beauty in this world, has helped me love the church. Everything has God's signature in it, His own unique design, and recognizing this in everything has inspired me as an artist.

Why I am a Mormon

With the love I feel from my Heavenly Father, and all of His children, it's impossible for me to reject the truth of this Church. I love making people happy, and that is what His Church revolves around. Service. Love for others. Kindness. Charity. Everything revolves around Jesus, who is my biggest role model. I know that this church is the only way to find true happiness, and it makes me happy to feel and share love. I love talking to people, being with people, and just loving people! When I let somebody into my life, I never want to let go. The best thing this church has given me is the knowledge that I will see everyone I love so dearly in the next life. Because of the Gospel, I know that life continues after death. And this is possibly the biggest comfort I receive. Friends move away, pass away, and as much as I'd love to be together, people end up leaving us someway or another. However, all of us have the blessing of living again after this life, and that fills me with so much happiness! No matter what happens, I look forward to being friends in Heaven. We'll have plenty of time to be together then!

How I live my faith

I love people. Try to live unprejudiced. We personally do not know the struggles that others face in their lives, and it is not our place to judge or criticize. If we can spread love and acceptance, we can help bring other to the truth, and true happiness. Which is only attained through Jesus Christ, who loved and accepted everyone. Currently, I am serving as a full-time Khmer-speaking missionary in Cambodia, to help bring others closer to Christ. It's important to remember that we really are so blessed. Sometimes I stay up and just cry because of how poor people are here. I wish I could give them everything that I have and more. I know that what I'm giving them is worth more than anything in the world though, and that through their faith they can be blessed. Keep the people of Cambodia in your prayers.
