Hi I'm Joseph

I grew up in a military family. I recently graduated college and work as an engineer at Dow Chemical. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of a 19 month old son, have been married 3 1/2 years, and I love my family. I love problem solving, and I enjoy being an engineer. I love playing all kinds of games with friends, especially strategy board games and video games.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this faith, and I have chosen to continue living it. Following the Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me to be happy in life, no matter what happens. Mormonism means believing in the Restored gospel, that Christ has restored his church on the earth with prophets and apostles like before. I know that there are apostles and prophets in this church today that are inspired by God to bless all mankind. I know this because I've listened to their words and followed their teachings. I have always been blessed by heeding their council, just as I have from my experience with the scriptures and the Holy Ghost. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the restored gospel it teaches will be an incredible blessing to my family forever.

How I live my faith

I am trying to improve myself each day and become more like Jesus. I am striving to be better with my scripture study. I love to teach the gospel within my home to my family. I also work as a Boy Scout Leader for the 11 year old boys in tri-ward (tri-congregation) area. I also watch over a number of families in my ward (congregation) to ensure that their temporal and spiritual needs are met. I enjoy meeting and working with other young fathers in my ward as we all strive to be better fathers, husbands, and servants to God.
