Hi I'm Matt

I'm a husband, a father, an entrepreneur, and a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and my two little girls are the world to me. I have a recycling and renewable energy business and feel fortunate to be doing what I love. I am a Veteran of the Iraq War. I love serving in the community and love people. I think everyone is my friend and try to treat everyone like my best friend. Life is so much more fun when it is shared.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel so blessed to have been born of great parents who taught me about Christ and His gospel. I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the testimony that I gained while going to church, reading the scriptures, praying and being a part of something so good gave me the foundation I have needed to stay strong during every challenge, trial and heartache life has given me. I love my Savior more than anything and to feel His eternal love every day is my greatest blessing.

How I live my faith

I love to talk with people about the gospel. The blessings I have in my life because of the gospel of Christ makes me want to share it with others so their families can be blessed too. Before I got married I served a two-year church mission to the Philippines where I learned to speak Tagalog and immersed myself in the work of the Lord and fell in love with the people and culture of the Philippines. I love to help my neighbors when they need help. As a family we make sure we have a family night every week. We pray together, read scriptures together and have family meals together every day. We know that families are meant to be eternal and because families are so vitally important in God's eyes I know that my family should be of greatest importance in my eyes too and I try to reflect that in the way I treat my family through things I think, the things I say and the things I do. I love my family so much and am so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who made it possible to be with my family forever. It is my desire for others to enjoy the same blessing I do.
