Hi I'm Liz

I am from Montana. I am studying speech pathology. I love to hike, bike, and run. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Liz and I am from Montana. I have a great love for the outdoors and have been blessed to live surrounded by great natural beauty. For that reason I love to spend my time outside hiking, biking, swimming, and running. I like to play around on the guitar and I especially love to sing! Currently I am going to college to study speech language pathology. I love this field and I am excited to help people overcome speech disorders so that they can have better communication skills and a more enriched life. I was recently called to be a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I have the opportunity and blessing to serve and teach the people of Thailand!

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that is why I am a Mormon. I have a testimony of my Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ, who atoned for our sins. I also believe that through a prophet named Joseph Smith, Christ's church was restored to this earth, including a set of scripture called the Book of Mormon. It contains truths and doctrines that guide me through my life and help to give me answers to my prayers. Also, I believe that God communicates with modern-day prophets so that we can receive revelation for our day. This communication shows me how much God loves and cares for us, His children. I believe in the Plan of Salvation and that we will be reunited with our loved ones after death and can live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again if we live worthily. This is a gospel of happiness and joy! It gives meaning and purpose to my life. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Being Mormon gives me a wonderful support group. From my interactions at church I have met friends, mentors, and leaders. Being involved in church also gives me the opportunity to serve other Mormons and members of the community. For example, I have been a member of my church's service committee where we plan service opportunities for our church members to better our communities and neighborhoods. I love that the members of the church are so willing to help each other out and give service. We have wonderful programs for children and youth, as well. And of course, we like to have fun! I like to attend ward volleyball, Frisbee, and softball competitions, as well as holiday parties and festivities. Most importantly, having the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life gives me so much joy and happiness. My testimony of the Gospel and of Jesus Christ helps me to live my life to its fullest and be the best person that I can be.
