Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a Mormon. I am from Virginia and have been Mormon my whole life! I wouldn't have it any other way

About Me

I am a divorced/single mom of 5 children. I recently went back to school, at age 38, after 14 years of being a stay at home mom. I am a surgical technician and love my job. My hobbies include rubber stamping, sewing, crocheting....pretty much anything you do with your hands. I am currently learning how to paint and find it to be very enjoyable. My children keep me very busy with their different school and extra circular activities. I find my greatest joy in watching my children excel in their varies activities.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are members of the church and therefore, I grew up Mormon. I came to know for myself that the church is true when I was around the age of 16. I decided that I would read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover, something I had never done up to that point. I realized that I was relying on what my parents believed and wanted to know for myself if being a Mormon was really right and true. I read the Book of Mormon in few months and felt my heart grow as I read it. I spent many hours praying to know for myself. I remember the warmth that I felt when the holy ghost testified to me that the things that I had read and the feelings I felt while reading the Book of Mormon were both right and true. I knew from then on that I could stand on my own two feet and declare that I am a Mormon because I know and not because my parents knew!

How I live my faith

My religion is a way of life and not just a Sunday activity. I strive to be a good example to all those I come in contact with. I am currently working with the little children in the church. I teach children ages 3 - 11 and love working with such sweet spirits. I often end up learning from them more than I believe they learn from me.
