Hi I'm Carrie

I'm a mom with teenagers, an avid reader, and'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married over twenty years. I have four wonderful children, a sweet son-in-law, and the world's most beautiful granddaughter. I also have a girl in Germany that came to us as an exchange student that I claim as a daughter of my heart. I read every chance I get. At the moment I am into historical fiction and mild fantasy books. I work at a middle school with at risk children. I love my job because it gives me the chance to make a difference in kids lives every now and then.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because it is where I find the pure gospel of Christ. I have read the Book of Mormon. The Holy Ghost has testified to my soul that it is the writings of ancient prophets, just as the Bible is.

How I live my faith

I help with the 14-15 year old girls in my congregation. I enjoy spending time with them and getting to know them, they bring quite a bit of joy into my life.

Are Mormons Christians?

We are Christians! Jesus Christ is the center, the foundation of our faith. He came to earth to walk with his brothers and sisters. He taught them His word, was rejected, crucified, buried in a borrowed tomb, and resurrected. To me, to be a Christian is to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. To know that he is the literal Son of God. Show more Show less
