Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Utah. I went on a Mission for my Faith. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the LDS Church. My parents taught me and my siblings the Gospel of Jesus Christ from a young age. When I was old enough to understand, I was baptized into the LDS church. Through personal experience, I gained a testimony that this is the restored Church of Christ that he established 2000 years ago. I love to learn, I'm only a sophmore in college, but i'm loving it. The more I learn about the world, especially science, the more I believe in God. The incredible intricacy of the universe we live in could not be the result of random chance. It is guided by a Glorified Being who is our spiritual Father. Like many others my age, In my free time I like to hang out with friends. We especially enjoy playing videogames together. We understand, however, that the human interaction is what really matters. I wouldn't trade all the games and books in the world for the friendships I have with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I left my home to serve others on a Mission for the Church. I'm one of those strange guys that wear white shirts and ride bikes and are freakishly happy. We don't get paid to serve, we do it because we know who we are, and who others are. We are children of God, who wants us to be like Him. We share our faith, because we know it will bring people true, lasting happiness in this life, and the life to come. I know that Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of the Father in mortality. He was sent, in order for us to have the opportunity to be cleansed from our sins and repent. He suffered our pains, difficulties and sins as well as every experience that has gone wrong in the world. It is because of this suffering that He is able to understand us on a level we can't even fathom. Trust in Christ, come unto him, and be healed.

How I live my faith

I serve in my capacity as a Missionary. We help anyone who will listen to learn about their relationship with our Father in Heaven. We usually do this by visiting homes, getting to know people, and sharing brief messages. We help others to feel the Holy Spirit, who testifies of Jesus Christ and God the Father. Such feelings are difficult to describe, but are often felt as feelings of peace, joy and love in your heart and mind. When you feel these things, you will know that you matter, that God loves you and you have a purpose.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Although we believe in helping each other out, we don't limit our service to just those who believe the same way we do. We serve in our neighborhoods, communities and even our countries. We are encouraged to partake in the joy that comes from serving our brothers and sisters, and we invite others to join us in serving the needy. Show more Show less
