Hi I'm Brad

I love bikes and am a MS candidate in instructional technology and proud father of two

About Me

I love learning. I love my wife and kids. I love bicycles and I loooove old BMWs. I try to experience all of those everyday and it keeps me pretty entertained and pretty happy too. I'm an instructional designer and I try to break our current learning paradigms all the time and make learning fun, engaging, and full of surprises.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because it has been the religion that I feel has brought me the closest to God. The journey has been mine and it's been unique but it appeals to my spiritual and intellectual curiosities in a way that brings about what I feel is the right path to even start answering questions about life.

How I live my faith

You know what I don't consider myself a very spiritual person, but my religious background affects my faith, my morals, my ethics, and keeps me aligned. No matter where I go, how I act, what I say, I can do a quick comparison of my actions to what Jesus Christ might have done, or did do, while he was alive, and it brings me perspective. I cannot read things Jesus Christ taught those among whom he walked and talked with or those people in the scriptures that tried hard to follow his teachings and not want to improve--especially their imperfections and personal struggles with living up to their most personal standards. That's the beauty of this Church, it has opened up Christ's example to me and my family.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Brad
Just walk in and talk to someone. It's not scary. We tend to smile a lot and help people change their flat tires. I usually yell at people in the road that ride by on a squeaky bike and force them to lube their chains before they go another mile. Because bicycle. Show more Show less
