Hi I'm Spencer

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am young man who loves to serve! I sing for my high school and I enjoy performing with a youth honors community choir. l also love rock climbing and hiking. Spending time in the outdoors helps me to remember how important I am to our Father in heaven. I honestly love The Book of Mormon and I rely on the spiritual and physical strength I get form each of the inspirational testimonies of the prophets of old.

Why I am a Mormon

I know Christ's true and living Gospel is only found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know this because I know The Book of Mormon is true. I have felt the Holy Spirit speak peace to my heart as I read, ponder, and pray about The Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon brings into my life happiness as I read and study it every single day. And because I know The Book of Mormon is true, I know Joseph Smith did see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in the Sacred Grove. Therefore, I know Jesus Christ does live and this is His true and living church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to live what I read in the scriptures and I strive to live like our prophet has asked us to. I serve in my community by smiling and waving at everyone I see. I go teach with the missionaries as frequently as I am available to do so. I home teach with my awesome dad who has taught me how to serve faithfully in my callings in the church. I have church callings such as: a member of the Seminary student council at my high school. I am able to serve the Seminary student body by planning and setting up for activities and by preparing games that we play for weeks and involve all the students who want to participate. I also serve my neighbors by helping those who are sick and/or unable to take care of their yards. As I serve, I feel the love our Father in heaven has for the person I am helping and, therefore, my love grows for my Heavenly Father, for His Son Jesus Christ, and for the person I am serving. Each week as I attend church, I promise the Savior, again, that I will do all that I can to keep the promises I made to Him when I was baptized in His name. Doing so helps me to live my faith every day. Each day, I strive to focus on why I am trying to keep the promises I made to Jesus Christ, to become like Him. I do that through the week, until I go to church again and repeat the process.
