Hi I'm Caitlyn

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in California. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, blogging, reading, organizing and cooking.

About Me

I am a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mother. I am grateful that the Lord’s church has been restored once again to the earth and that I am able to have the knowledge of who I am, where I am going and how to get there. The plan of salvation provides all those answers and more.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family where the gospel was very important. My parents set a good example of faith and Christ-like service and I have tried to learn from their example. I was baptized when I was eight but understood clearly that I needed to learn and develop a testimony of my own. This testimony was built little by little as I prayed, studied my scriptures, accepted callings, and attended church activities. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each one of us and is aware of even the minute details in our lives. I know that God answers our prayers. I love the morals and values the church teaches, the spirit I feel, and the family togetherness the gospel promotes.

How I live my faith

I was married to my sweetheart in the Logan, Utah Temple and I am grateful that we can be married for eternity! I feel so fortunate for the opportunity my husband and I have to raise our children and for the amazing people they are-I learn from them all the time and continually have to work on being the patient and loving mother and wife I want to be and that they deserve! Having my children has helped me comprehend, to an extent, the unconditional love our Heavenly Father must have for each one of us. I feel blessed to be able to serve in my family, my community, and in the Lord’s church. I know the Lord's Church has been restored to the Earth and through the gospel we have the opportunity to serve God and love and serve our neighbors (Matthew 22:37-39). I fail and make mistakes all the time and I am so grateful for our Savior’s atonement and for the knowledge that I can repent, try to improve and return to live with him again someday, along with my family. There is such comfort in knowing that as long as I am worthy, I will be able to be with them forever, even if we are temporarily parted by death. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings me surety, joy and completeness that I am grateful for every day and that I hope to share with others.
