Hi I'm Josh

I'm a pro-angry birds player. People try to act like I'm from here but I'm not from here! Call me Mr. Hershey Bar! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

First thing, my family means the world to me. I have the most amazing family! I'm the youngest of 4, I have 2 sisters. They're my personal wardrobe artists! I also have a brother. He's cool like his brother ;) Love 'em to death! I LOVE music!! I sound like Mariah Carey when I sing in the shower... believe dat! I love polka-dotted bow-ties! They make a powerful fashion statement, you know? I'm a "wordy" kind of person. I love BIG HAIRY AUDACIOUS words !! "Clandestination" happens to be my most favorite word. One of my best buddies made that up. I thought it was genius! I love curly hair!....ummmm..I don't know why.. I'm big into exploration, it always gets my juices going! I'm always looking for an adventure and looking to try out new things! When I'm not doing that, I'll be scheming! I want to tour Europe so bad! That'll be my next destination after my mission! 007 is my most favorite number. Secretly, I'm a NINJA! Always have been, always will be. Well, I guess its not a secret anymore. Purple is my most favorite color.... Yellow comes 2nd. Its always a party when I'm around my family & friends. FUN! FUN! FUN! FUN! I'm a convert! Joined the church about 6 years ago! Best decision I've EVER made! I love and appreciate the "little" things in life..... like little kids, especially my little niece and my 2 little nephews. They're the sweetest! Most importantly, I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! It's changed my life!

Why I am a Mormon

Well, my oldest sister led my family to this wonderful gospel! She was dating her husband who is a member of the church. They started going to church together on Sundays. My sister would often invite my other siblings and I to church activities! We would go to the church and make new friends, eat good food and leave feeling impressed by how "nice" everyone was. The members of the church always stood out from the rest of the world, in a very positive way. So, naturally, we desired to have what they had! Who wouldn't? Soon after, we invited the missionaries into our home. We loved the missionaries! They encouraged us to read the Book of Mormon and pray about what they were teaching us, to know if the church that was established by Jesus Christ Himself had been restored back to the earth, and we did. After reading from the pages of the Book of Mormon, I felt the pure love of the Savior, Jesus Christ. I did not see His face, but I heard His voice! Through studying with the missionaries, our family grew closer and we were all happy. The true happiness and joy that this restored gospel brought into our family is what led us all to the waters of baptism. I was fifteen yrs old. I know that God is my loving father in heaven and HE lives! I know that Jesus is the Christ, the living son of a living God! This knowledge speaks peace unto me, a peace that passeth all understanding. This knowledge and the peace it briongs is priceless! That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to always be there to lend a hand where its needed. Doing service is my religion. I enjoy visiting with church members as a home-teacher and getting to share the gospel with them. Building them up like the Savior did. Through the 'Mormon Helping Hands' program, I am able to go out with other church members and give help in the community. Its always good to see the smiles on the people's faces. I also live my faith by talking with people, both young & old, and doing most of the listening.
