Hi I'm Nelly Fuentes

I'm 19 years young. Boston Bound. Sister Missionary. I'm your #1 fan. and I'm Mormon!

About Me

I started my crazy adventure of life in Florida. Born into the greatest family known to man. Literally my crew is HILARIOUS! Solid parents who raised me right. I'm a sophomore in college. I'm the youngest of two. I can't go a single day without finding something to laugh about. I love volleyball and kids! I have a ridiculous amount of energy and I probably say about 10000000 words a day. before my mission i was a primary teacher and I absolutely loved it! I am a future kindergarten teacher and cosmetologist. Thanks to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I learned how to make correct choices. I learned what it means to sacrifice for the greater good. I learned that painful failures bring about beautiful growth. I learned that at the end of the day, all that truly matters is your family. I learned what it means to look at life with an eternal perspective. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for the knowledge that I have. I'll never be able to repay Him, or His Son, but I can try...I am currently serving a full-time mission for the both of Them in the Massachusetts Boston Mission, Portuguese speaking! TUDO BEM! I want others to have what I have. I want them to hear, grasp, understand, and love the truthfulness of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's everything. I'm no stranger to pain or heartbreak but Heavenly Father has helped me get through tough times. I hope that I can make myself the best person I can be, and hopefully someday, the man that I marry will have done the same.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because.....well it brings happiness to my life. I wasn't always a member of the church but I always knew there was an amazing being out there who loved me and cared for me as well as my family. My parents raised me right, helped me make the right choices and showed me the right path then left me to fly and choose my own path. As I acted on the things that I learned from life, the gospel and my family, I quickly realized that having a real, active relationship with my Father in Heaven was the catalyst for my happiness. A certain type of happiness that is found no place else. It's real. It's pure. It's everlasting. So...why am I a Mormon...? Because it fulfills me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission for my Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ. By sharing the happiness this gospel has brought me with everyone. By preaching about the amazing gift of repentance. Repentance is love and our Savior died so we could have the gift of repentance and experience everlasting joy. By loving everyone. I live my faith by acting on the things I believe. The more I act, the stronger it gets. The stronger it gets, the more fearless I become. And THAT is a feeling I love.
