Hi I'm Caroline

I'm a college student, travel-lover, adventure seeker, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the youngest of three children. I grew up in beautiful Western Pennsylvania but I've moved 6 times to five different states due to my dad's job. I'm a college student studying International Relations with a minor in Chinese. I love to sew, cook, hike, snowboard, lay out by the pool and read, travel, hang out with friends and coach high jump in my free time. I also like to listen to and play music during my free time. One of my goals in life is to become a public and government affairs specialist for an international company.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I never had doubts about my faith and never wondered if I should even be a member of this church, I just always knew it was true. My faith had never been tested. That is, until my sophomore year of college. I'm not sure why but I lost my testimony. I lost my desire to continue to be a member of this church and I lost my desire to continue living the values the church teaches. However, as I considered leaving the church, emptiness began to fill me and a void began to develop that just wouldn't go away. I felt distant from Heavenly Father. I realized what had never really clicked before: This church makes me so happy, happier than I can ever be without, and it brings a peace to my soul. A solace that is so hard to find in our turbulent world. That is when I truly gained my testimony of the truthfulness and wonderfulness of this church. As soon as I had this realization, I knew right there and then that I could never, ever, live without the gospel being an integral part again because I truly realized the wonderful, enormous difference the gospel makes in my life. This church is true! I know it with every fiber of my being. It gives life a purpose, it makes me happier, it helps me work to become a better person, it gives me hope, and it gives me the strength to make it through the hard times, even when I don't think I can. I truly don't know where I would be without it and I am so grateful for it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions. I try to be conscientious about the way I speak, dress, and act, the decisions I make, and I strive to be the person that Jesus Christ wants me to be.
