Hi I'm Jeffrey Broadhead

I'm from Kansas. I love to watch and play sports. I enjoy learning new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying to be an oral surgeon and I work part time as a custodian. I have two older brothers and enjoy being around them and my parents. In high school I played football, wrestled and threw Javelin in track and field. In my spare time I enjoy exercising and playing football or basketball. I love movies and the occasional video game but don't have too much time for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this Church was restored by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through the prophet Joseph Smith. I came to know this after studying and praying about the Book of Mormon. I already believed the bible was God's message to his children and I prayed and asked him if the Book of Mormon was his message to us as well. I received my answer and I can not deny that the book is from God. I have since studied and prayed about many of this Church's beliefs to know if they are true and received an answer from God that they are. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died to pay the price for the sins of all man kind so that we can return to live with him and our Father in Heaven. I also know that the gospel of Christ is taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

Several times a month I visit different members of my Church to see how they're doing and if they could use a hand with anything. I teach an adult class on Sunday's at Church. When people ask for my help whether or not I know them I will help them and I try to offer help to people even if they don't ask for it. I try to always be kind to and make friends with the people I encounter on a daily basis.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Jeffrey Broadhead
Mormons do not only help Mormons. We believe that God loves all his children equally and wants them to be happy. The Church collectively and it's members try daily to help everyone they come into contact with; it does not matter if you are a member or not. In the Bible Christ commands all men to be perfect like him and Heavenly Father and in this pursuit, members of this Church try to love and serve more everyday. As Christ and Heavenly Father do not love or serve less based on religion, we do not either. Show more Show less
