Hi I'm Kaitlyn

I'm a student. I'm a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a small town girl who loves thinking of ways to spice up my quiet life! I am a soccer and volleyball player, and am trying to become a tennis player as well. I am a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a student, and a wife. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it makes sense. I was born into the church and am so grateful to have loving and caring parents who always taught me the way that is pleasing to Heavenly Father. I have had many circumstances where I felt my Father in Heavens love and his protecting hand in my life. I never had one moment that defined my conversion, but have had many little reminders of why I believe. At times I have wondered why I am a member, but after considering the reasons for a minute - I always have an overwhelming reassurance that it is right. Believing that God has a plan for us, and has sent us current leaders to watch over and teach us reassures me that there is a higher power. Believing that families can be together forever and marriage is eternal, is something that has strengthen my testimony and brought me closer to those I love and deeply cherish. Believing that God loves me and all of His children, is a constant reassurance and always helps me when life gets tough. For these reasons, and many more, I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Living my faith isn't always something that comes naturally or easy. We live in a world that is full of temptations on every corner, and avoiding that is a daily struggle. Yet, as I do my best to daily talk with Heavenly Father and study the words of past and current prophets, temptations become less overwhelming. I live my faith by setting a good example for family members and friends. I live it by attending the temple as often as I can, and by teaching others about God's love for His children. I live it by giving a smile or a simple hug - because I know this is what Jesus Christ would do for his fellowmen. Living my faith isn't always easy, but I know that when I do - life is freeing!
