Hi I'm Emily

I love sports, camping, and anything outdoors. I love to travel, and one day I'm going to see the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying Psychology at Brigham Young University, and one day I want to be a child Psychologist. I love working with children, so I want to work with hospitalized children. I've already learned so much from those that I volunteer with. I come from a family of 6, and I love spending time with my family!! We love to sing, camp, travel, and play together. I love music, whether I'm playing it or just listening. I love being outside, and interacting with people, because I believe that if you really want to, you can learn something good from everyone you come in contact with. I love sunshine, cupcakes, sleeping, movies, reeses, snowcones, volleyball, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

There are a lot of reasons why I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints contains the fullness of the true gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I know that God restored His priesthood keys to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith, and that we are led by a true prophet of God today, Thomas S. Monson. I am a Mormon because I know that this is Christ's church, and He stands at its head. His teachings have made my life more than I could have ever made it by myself. As I have come to personally know my Savior, Jesus Christ, I have witnessed the love that He has for me and for all of God's children. I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy! There is no other way that I have found that can make me as happy as I am being a member of Christ's church. I was raised by wonderful parents in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I hope to teach my children the same principles one day. I'm a Mormon because I love my Savior, and I want to strive to be one of His disciples.

How I live my faith

My faith guides me in everything I do. It is the reason I get up every morning. I go to church each and every Sunday, and I strengthen my testimony in Christ. I am an active member of the Relief Society, and I strive to fulfill my church callings. Even though life is hard, the gospel of Jesus Christ makes life easier, and I thank God for my blessings each and every day by praying to Him. I know that by talking with my Heavely Father every day, I have formed a personal relationship with Him, and that He wants that for all of HIs children. Ultimately, I live my faith by living as Jesus Christ would live. I try to lift those around me, and to lose myself in the service of God's children, because above all things, the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches about love!
